Report of #GHD24 offered as a 3-day DAH retreat @Rishikesh, Uttarakhand



Krishna Guruji Welfare Society celebrated 🎊🎶🎬GHD2024 in grandeur,which was offered as a package of a 3-day retreat at Paramarth Niketan Ashram @ Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, Bharath from Aug 9th through 11th, with the main day of event on Aug 11th '24(Sunday).

A brief chronicle of the events. 

  1. Check in on evening of Aug 8th
  2. Day 1 - Aug 9th - Group intro, warm up, guided meditation, Ganga Arti, night Satsang
  3. Day 2 - Aug 10th - Group game (viewing & reporting), Ganga, guided meditation, private Ganga Arti, night Satsang
  4. Day 3 - Aug 11th - Pre GHD guided meditation, GHD celebration, night Satsang
  5. Check out on Aug 12th morning

Aug 11th - the 9th annual GHD graced with guests from diverse backgrounds from 

  1. Indian Police Service Inspector General of Jail Smt Vimala Gunjyal Ji, 
  2. Shri Mahesh Semalty ji,Priest from local temple.
  3. Panch Granti's from local Sikh Gurdwara.

To recap this event has been held nationally and internationally for the past 8 years.

Our beloved Guruji conceptualized this idea of celebrating Global Healing annually on a set stage with participants transcending all the differences in barriers of age, caste, creed, religion, faith, gender, economic status to come together in unison brining their payers, pooja, dua, Ardas as one consciousness to send out healing to the entire mankind of the Globe.

The event commenced with the National Prayer (Indian National Anthem) 

Pujyaniya Guruji 🙏lead the group assembled for this noble purpose in this 9th annual year of Global praying 🙏and healing.

The event was 

  1. Anchored by Ms Jayalakshmi, 
  2. Bhatuks from the Ashram chanted the Shanti Paat
  3. Kapil ji talked through the group on what Global Healing Day is and DivineAstroHealing, 
  4. The Chief guests and other guests exhibited their opinion of setting aside a day for collective praying.
  5. Shri Sriraman ji offered the vote of thanks.
  6. Youngest healer Master Pragnay demonstrated his healing on a participant there

The venue was at Paramarth Niketan Ashram on the banks of Mother Ganga 💧. The team who was part of the entire 3-day retreat was blessed to be the gracious presence of Guruji and Guruma and other DAH members who travelled long distances to be part of the noble event.

Another key highlight of the event was the private Ganga Arti, where the team got to witness the daily Ganga Arti right on her lap in close proximity, enjoying the melodious bhajans sung by the ashram mates, watching Ma Ganga flowing freely, the participants immersed in the bhajans and the flow of the water. Guruji's recorded audio on Ma Ganga was also played at the end of the event.

In continuing the series of the 'Transformation of Festival's', Krishna Guruji and his DAH Parivar celebrated ' Holi ' as ' Intention Day '. On the eve of Holi, Guruji and his followers assembled @ Shani Navagraha Mandir, Ujjain, MP to light the Holika Dahan pyre per the customary practice. Ancient history has it that on this day Holika, sister of Hiranyakashipu burnt to ashes when she sat in the fire pit with Prahlad on her lap with the bad intention of wanting the little child to burn to ashes since he would not accept his father Hiranyakashipu as almighty and always chanted the name Narayana - the Supreme. Since Holika's intention was bad, although she had the Divine boon of not being burnt by fire, she was burnt to ashes while Prahlada came out unscraped, the moral of this is his intentions were clear and while not Holika's.
