Guru visits Ujjain jail to celebrate 'Guru Purnima' as 'Margdarshak Diwas\Mentor Day' with the prisoners

 Krishna Guruji and the DivineAstroHealing(DAH)family visited Ujjain's Byroged Jail in the morning to celebrate 'Guru Purnima' as 'Mentor Day'. In contrast to the popular customary practice of disciples and followers visiting Guru to honor him\her with Guru Dakshina, et all on this auspicious day, dedicated to Gurus for their guidance in our lives, the former visited the prison.

He and the DAH family celebrated it with around 500 prisoners.

He imparted knowledge, sang a bhajan, gave the prisoners advice to control their emotions. Intellect should be their first Guru and use awareness to avoid such decisions in the future which would end up in them being incarcerated. He distributed sweets on behalf of the DAH family.

He advised them to spend the rest of their punishment in harmony with each other. He mentioned they are the Guru for their family members and he was there representing their relatives.

It was impressive to note the prisoners play the accompanying instruments when Guruji sang the philosophical song which synchronized well ' Only your Atma knows your deeds, as well as the Supreme...............तेरी करम कहानी तेरी आत्मा ही जाने, परमात्म ही जाने.' which was enjoyed by the prisoners as well as the prison staff.

In the evening, per the regular status quo, Guruju hosted the Zoom video session and his key teachings to his followers were.

  1. Any day is Guru Purnima when you implement the Guru's knowledge and benefit from it and feel content and do not limit Guru Purnima just to this calendar year
  2. Searching for Guru in self is Guru Purnima
  3. We are the Guru for our family and others for whom we have become the medium to fulfill their wishes.
  4. Any pooja you perform should be of gratitude and not with expectations to have your desires fulfilled
  5. Guru Purnima is a Samarpan\offering to give blessings. A Guru is always with us if we are with our own self(i.e. with no anger, hatred, ego, aggression, pride, head weight).
  6. Visit\Call all Guru's in our lives, expand them beyond just Spiritual Guru, anyone who guides you in any aspect is a Guru - Wish all of your Guru's, offer gratitude to them - beginning with mother, father, brother, sister, colleagues, boss, friends etc.

In continuing the series of the 'Transformation of Festival's', Krishna Guruji and his DAH Parivar celebrated ' Holi ' as ' Intention Day '. On the eve of Holi, Guruji and his followers assembled @ Shani Navagraha Mandir, Ujjain, MP to light the Holika Dahan pyre per the customary practice. Ancient history has it that on this day Holika, sister of Hiranyakashipu burnt to ashes when she sat in the fire pit with Prahlad on her lap with the bad intention of wanting the little child to burn to ashes since he would not accept his father Hiranyakashipu as almighty and always chanted the name Narayana - the Supreme. Since Holika's intention was bad, although she had the Divine boon of not being burnt by fire, she was burnt to ashes while Prahlada came out unscraped, the moral of this is his intentions were clear and while not Holika's.
